Never knew Harley made this way back in the early 2000s.
Rode one today and now I'm starting to regret getting the Niner. Ehh, both are bikes I love to own.

The engine was designed in conjunction with Porsche. They have won many NHRA Pro Stock Motorcycle titles. And they are fast and fun to ride.

My next door neighbor has one......he has all kinds of aftermarket stuff on. Not sure how fast it is, but it looks really nice.

harley Vrod - as in the original post as well. Porsche designed 4cam vtwin...ive ridden them; they're better than anything harley sells, but they're still crap. Engine is awesome, the chassis/suspension suck for anything other than riding in a straight line. If the 'muscle cruiser' gets you off see the Ducati Diavel. Same awesome power and torque with a WAY lighter chassis and handling that the Vrod can only dream of.

it's not for me. it's just very the style of the man who owns it. his twin turbo z06 does wheelies. his sons both drive evos. 2012 and 2003. I want to get an r6 this coming summer.

iirc the first model year vrod had solid front and rear wheels. or some other ridiculous design feature. it's a wonder they found a market for it, given the brand's image re: change

V-Rod Muscle. Most uncomfortable seat ever on a production motorcycle. Spend your money on something better from BMW, Ducati, Triumph or Honda.

Night Rod Special. Decent engine, terrible ergonomics. If you absolutely have to have one, look for a 2007 VRSCR, also known as the Street Rod. Honestly though there are much better motorcycles out there. These are bloated, cobbled together attempts to remain relevant and expand market share.
